A Little About Me
I live by the sea. I’m a farm girl from Eastern Washington who ended up overseas. After being in the UK since 1997, I’m pretty settled here. I love people, love to pick up seashells on the beach and collect fabric that is occasionally made into quilts or clothing. I followed Jesus to ministry in Eastern Europe, smuggling Bibles and supporting the persecuted church. Living in different countries, raising kids, having twins and well–marriage, my faith has needed refreshing in many ways over the years. During cancer treatment in 2017, I found writing a great help to process faith amidst internal wrestling. I want to share my unedited vulnerable stories with you and inspire you to relax into a Jesus faith, whatever comes around the bend in your journey,
I’ve been writing for years, mostly personal journaling of my prayers. But through my cancer journey I gradually came to see that others were being refreshed and challenged by my writing. So this blog is taking up the challenge given to me that I put my writing out there for a larger audience. Are you weary in the walk of faith? Are you struggling to see if your spiritual life has any relevance to your day to day life? Hopefully here you will find inspiration and a fresh wind of hope along with thought stimulating vulnerability.
